Oreo's Journey to Catopia
Oreo arrived at Catopia the way many forgotten cats do—quietly, cautiously, and with a lifetime of hardship written across his tiny frame. In spring 2026, he began appearing on our cameras as a shy, elusive visitor. He would slip in for a quick meal, tuck himself into one of our outdoor shelters for the night, and vanish at the slightest sound.
After several weeks of observation, it became clear that Oreo wasn’t simply passing through. He had no home to return to. He was circling our feeding stations day and night, trying to survive the best he could in a community where he didn’t quite fit.
